The other day, I talked about taking action photography. It's not something I've ever done, not because I didn't want to, but rather because I had never really thought about it. Now that I have a real camera, my husband suggested I take some action shots. So, last weekend when I took Nature Girl and The Teen to our local park, I took a few.
The Teen has always loved the swings, ever since he was a wee baby.
Our local park has been remodeled, and one of the results is this saucer swing. Nature Girl ran into a school friend at the park, and they (and all the other kids) flocked to the big swing. Here they all are enjoying it just how kids enjoy things.
Nature Girl is not a selfish person. She spent as much time pushing as she did riding. That's just her nature. Here, she's pushing an eager throng of saucer swing fans.
There, while I know it's just a couple of pictures, those were my favorite from that day. I'll definitely be looking for more opportunities to take action shots, so you can rest assured that you'll be seeing more of them down the road! ;)
It's Friday, which means the weekend is here. I'd love to say that I'll get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, but it's supposed to snow. See? Crazy Midwest weather. Whatever the weather is like where you are...enjoy it.
