The Winter That Almost Wasn't

Lately, I have been lamenting about Winter. It's looked like the above photo now for, well, the entirely of November and December. I know I shouldn't complain, but Winter just doesn't seem like Winter unless it snows. And truthfully, if we don't get snow over the Winter, the ground remains really parched and that would not be good come Spring.

Fortunately, I woke up this morning to this! Now, it truly feels like Winter...and Christmas. Christmas just isn't the same without some snow, and Nature Girl was super excited to see the white stuff when she woke up. 

Tonight, we celebrate our family Christmas, and I'm just as excited as the kids to see what they get. I hope your Holidays are relaxing, fun, and filled with love. From my house to yours:
